James Clark
James Clark is a freelance writer based in deepest, darkest south London, UK. He's rarely happier than when delving into the city's nooks and crannies in search of weird stories and has written several collections of these tales, including Haunted London (2007), which looked at those central areas of London familiar to tourists, Haunted Wandsworth (2006), covering the London Borough of Wandsworth, and Strange Mitcham (2nd edition 2011), focusing on his home town. He also maintains the Mysterious Mitcham website. His latest book, Haunted Lambeth, exploring ghosts and legends from the London Borough of Lambeth, is due out in February 2013. Also in the pipeline is a book about the poltergeist that took over the Hitchings family’s home in Battersea in the 1950s. This is being co-written with Shirley Hitchings, who was at the centre of those remarkable events. To find out more visit James's website.
